Police officer shot dead in Bannu

Unidentified assailants on Monday killed a sub-inspector of police in Cantt area of Bannu, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The deceased policeman identified as Ali Bahadur was performing his duty at Cantt Police Station. 

Soon after the incident a police team surrounded the area and started a search operation to arrest the attackers.

Earlier on December 1, 2024, a policeman was killed in an exchange of fire with terrorists who attacked a police station in Lakki Marwat. Later when the cops retaliated, the terrorists fled the scene.

Two terrorists killed

Two hardened terrorists were shot dead on Monday during a search operation conducted to arrest the culprits involved in target killing of police Sub-Inspector Ali Bahadur in Kharakey Mama Khel area of district Bannu.
