Punjab govt showers Rs3b more funds on MPAs

The Punjab government has released more funds worth rupees three billion for the provincial lawmakers of the ruling PTI and its allied parties, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Though the funds were released for the constituencies of these MPAs, the lawmakers from Lahore got a grant of Rs600 million.
During the last six months, funds worth Rs13.17 billion have so far been released to the provincial lawmakers.
According to sources, Rs13 billion were released in the name of the Community Development Programme and MPAs from Chief Minister Usman Buzdar’s hometown of DG Khan District got funds the most.
