SHO injured by constable’s firing in Renala Khurd

A Station House Officer (SHO) became injured when his companion, Constable Abdullah, opened fire on him during joint patrolling in Renala Khurd, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday. 

According to details, SHO Satgarah Sub-Inspector Tariq and Constable Abdullah were on routine patrolling when Abdullah opened fire on the SHO and escaped from the scene.

Constable Abdullah's firing hit the SHO in the stomach. 

After receiving the report, a police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured SHO to the hospital.

District Police Officer (DPO) Mohammad Rashid also reached the hospital to inquire about the health condition of the injured SHO.

Police registered a case against the Constable and started a search operation to apprehend him.

A spokesman of the Okara police said the real purpose behind the firing will be determined after the arrest of the accused.

Man kills wife 

A man brutally murdered his wife after tying a rope around her neck and hanging her body from the roof.

Later, the accused informed the police on Helpline 15. DPO constituted a special team to determine the cause of the death.

Police also shifted the dead body of a woman to the police station. During the initial investigation, the husband of the woman failed to satisfy the police about her suicide.

Later, the accused admitted that he himself murdered his wife, who was the mother of his eight children.

The accused told the police that he decided to kill her wife after she refused to grant him permission for a second marriage.
