Ghotki police vans tell different stories

An interesting rather amusing scenario emerged in a Sindh district where the police mobile vans, provided to facilitate the force in fighting the crime, were found performing ‘unique’ runs.
In the first case, two mobile vans of Ghotki police escorted a wedding party of a brother of a clerk working in the SSP’s Office, though without prior approval from the SSP Ghotki who later said that he had no knowledge of the vans spared for the wedding.
Though the whole area saw the police vehicles escorting the wedding party of clerk Din Mohammad’s brother, posted in Ghotki’s SSP office.
The TV channel reported that the wedding was given a royal protocol due to the police vans.
Contrary to the first incident, another police van of Khanpur Mehr Police Station while performing a hot chase of criminals came to a halt after developing a mechanical fault.
The TV channel reported that while going after criminals the van got stuck though the policemen tried to push start the vehicle to resume their chase but it was not of any use.
It is reported that Ghotki police mobile vans are in dire straits despite the Sindh government’s hefty allocation in the budget.
