Health Ministry, Roche ink agreement to supply free cancer medicines

The Ministry of National Health Services and Swiss company Roche have signed an agreement for provision of free-of-cost medicines to cancer patients, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking on the occasion, Federal Minister for National Health Services Mustafa Kamal said in the first phase, 745 patients from Islamabad, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan will receive these medicines free of cost.
The minister said 30 percent of the cost will be covered by the government, while the remaining 70 percent by Roche company.
