The Federal Finance Ministry has ordered disbursement of salaries and pensions on July 27— three days before Eidul Azha, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Eidul Azha is expected to be celebrated on July 31 (Friday), depending upon the sighting of the moon.

According to Rule 217 of the Treasury Rules, if Eidul Azha falls within the last 10 days of a month, the salary for that month may be disbursed in advance to all federal government servants and pensioners. However, the advance salary should not be disbursed more than five days before the festival.
