National Assembly (NA) Speaker Asad Qaiser has doled out Rs310 million to members of the assembly staff in the name of honorary salaries, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

Speaker NA did not bother to seek permission from Prime Minister Imran Khan or the Ministry of Finance, hence causing the loss of millions of rupees to the national exchequer

Quoting sources, the channel reported that the speaker even gave three honorary salaries to each member of the assembly staff, and the interesting thing is that neither the prime minister nor finance ministry has so far approved Asad Qaiser’s decision.
