The government has decided to tighten the noose around hoarders of dollars or other foreign currencies, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday, quoting its sources.

According to these sources, the government has planned to introduce a set of important laws along with the federal budget 2023-24 in order to target the hoarders of the foreign currency.

The hoarders of the foreign currency would now face prison and heavy fine for which legislation will be tabled in the Parliament.

The new law will penalize those companies and people who will stash the foreign currency.
