Bugti, Ayaz Sadiq discuss Balochistan development, federation-provincial coordination

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti met National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Tuesday to discuss national and provincial affairs, development initiatives and matters of mutual interest.

The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and Mir Saleem Khan Khosa.

According to officials, the participants discussed ways to strengthen coordination and communication between the federation and Balochistan, review progress on development projects and enhance measures aimed at public welfare.

The meeting also focused on the challenges facing Balochistan, development priorities and the need for long-term solutions to issues affecting the province's residents.

Participants agreed on the importance of strengthening democratic institutions, enhancing parliamentary cooperation and promoting national unity.

They emphasised the need for joint efforts by federal and provincial stakeholders to address the challenges facing Balochistan and accelerate development.

During the meeting, Ayaz Sadiq praised the provincial government's efforts to promote development, peace, and stability in Balochistan and acknowledged its initiatives to improve public services and public welfare.

The participants reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation for the socio-economic development of the province and the strengthening of democratic governance.
