Jamalo Express completes trial run successfully
To provide better travel facilities to residents of Sukkur, Jamalo Express completed a trial journey from Sukkur to Rohri successfully, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Chairman District Council, Sukkur, Syed Kamil Haider Shah, Deputy Superintendent (DS) Railway, Farhan Ghani, and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Azhar Khan Mughal were also on board the train during the trial journey.
On this occasion, these officials also reviewed the railway track and other operational issues.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion include Syed Mohsin Abbas Shah, Focal Person Sindh Minister for Local Bodies Irfan Ali Daudpoto, Sardar Taqi Khan Dharejo, Chief Officer District Council Sukkur, Lala Zafar Iqbal Mughal and others.
Talking with the media, District Council Sukkur Chairman Syed Kamil Haider Shah said that the inauguration of Jamalo Express, Jamalo Park, and other local bodies' projects will be completed before the start of Muharram.
He said that Jamalo Express will be a unique train that will provide cheap and secure travel facilities to the residents.
Syed Kamil Haider Shah said that students and labourers will be provided free travel facilities. He said that after the launch of Jamalo Express, traffic rush on roads will decrease.
