Punjab CM orders making Women Safety app functional

Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi has ordered to make Women Safety app ‘Meri Awaz’ functional across the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The chief minister on Thursday also directed to make the IG Complaint 1787 helpline more active for the protection of women.

It merits here to mention that women who experience harassment will now be able to get immediate help by pressing the app button.
