In a fresh wave of administrative changes, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Department has announced the transfer and posting of key District Police Officers (DPOs) in three tribal districts, effective immediately.

According to an official notification issued by the Office of the Inspector General of Police, KP, and approved by the Chief Minister and Provincial Police Officer, the reshuffle is aimed at improving law enforcement efficiency in sensitive regions.

As per Notification No. CPO/E-I/Transfer/Posting/1197, the following postings have been made:

Mr. Shoukat Ali (PSP, BS-18) has been transferred from SP CTD Districts, CTD Peshawar, and appointed as District Police Officer, Orakzai.

Mr. Waqar Ahmad (Provisional SP, BS-18), previously serving in CTD Peshawar, is now posted as District Police Officer, North Waziristan.

Mr. Malik Habib Khan (DSP/LI, BS-17) has been made Acting DPO Kurram, transferred from SDPO Saddar Mardan.

Additionally, Mr. Ahmed Shah PSP, who was previously posted in Kurram, has been directed to report back as per an earlier notification issued on March 27, 2025.
