NEPRA increases power tariff by 40 paise

In another shock to the already overburdened power consumers, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has notified a hike of Rs0.40 per unit in the price of electricity as part of the fuel adjustment for the month of September 2023.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, NEPRA issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday.

The notification said that the increase shall be applied to all the consumer categories except electric vehicle charging stations and lifeline consumers.
