US dollar inches towards Rs168 against Pakistani rupee

The US dollar continued its upward trend against the Pakistani rupee and reached Rs167.66 in the inter-bank trading on Thursday, reporter 24NewsHD TV channel.

In the last four months, the US dollar has increased over Rs15 against the Pakistani currency.

Experts said that with the rise in the value of the dollar the imports are now also costing more.

Forex dealers of Karachi said that the dollar was at Rs167.43 in the interbank market on August 28 last year.
