‘Lollywood nepo baby’: Netizens unhappy with Nida Yasir’s picture with daughter
Nida Yasir has shared pictures of her daughter, but instead of admiration, the posts sparked criticism as many social media users labelled the young girl a 'nepo baby'.
Taking to Instagram, she posted the pictures with a caption that her ‘little fairy’. However, the backlash began after Galaxy Lollywood posted the photo.
In the comments section, one user remarked: “Don’t say anything… it feels like in the race of this world, she has forgotten the Hereafter.”
Another pointed out that Nida’s daughter resembles Suhana Khan, the daughter of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, a prime example of what critics call ‘nepo babies’ dominating the industry.
Suhana Khan, who entered Bollywood through Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix film The Archies, has often been cited in nepotism debates as opportunities like hers are nearly impossible for aspiring actors without influential parents.
The term nepo baby (short for nepotism baby) has become central to Bollywood and Lollywood discussions in recent years, fueled by outspoken critics like Kangana Ranaut.
