Scarlett Johansson stuns at TIFF 2025

Scarlett Johansson stole the spotlight in a champagne gown as she lit up the red carpet for the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of her new film Eleanor The Great.

The 40-year-old actress-turned-filmmaker looked effortlessly elegant in a champagne-pink gown flaunting her inked-up back as she celebrated the new film, which marks her directorial debut.

Johansson donned a backless design that prominently featured her sizable back tattoos, an enormous black-and-white thorn-dotted branch of a rose bush and a tiny lamb.

The Avengers star wore her blond tresses parted down the middle and tied up in a bun, and she framed her impeccably made-up visage with dangling leaf-like earrings.

She was joined at the film festival premiere by the film's stars, including it's 95-year-old lead June Squibb and her British costars Erin Kellyman and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Eleanor The Great, which stars Squibb as its title character, has polarized critics for its controversial plot and tone, which veers between comedy and drama.

Squibb plays Eleanor Morgenstein, a woman in her mid-90s who moves from Florida back to New York after her best friend, a Holocaust survivor, dies.

Johansson set temperatures soaring in her gorgeous dress, which featured spaghetti straps and dangling sleeves.

For her directorial debut, Johansson opted not to appear in the film and instead stayed behind the camera.
