Six killed, several injured as tractor-trolley hits power lines in Thatta

Six people, including a woman, were killed and several others injured after a tractor-trolley came into contact with overhead electricity wires near Pir Jo Goth in Thatta.

According to police officials, the victims suffered electric shocks when the tractor-trolley collided with the power lines.

The bodies and injured people were shifted to Civil Hospital Thatta, where the injured are receiving medical treatment.

Police said the victims were labourers who were returning home after harvesting a rice crop when the accident occurred.

Further investigation into the incident is underway.
