Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Monday reiterated his demand for the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) and announced to hold a protest outside the Election Commission of Pakistan office on Thursday, August 04.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, former Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed the party’s National Council meeting and claimed to get a two-thirds majority in the next general elections.
Addressing the PTI council, Imran Khan said the CEC should resign as the Commission has tried its best to make the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) project fail against the fact that it will end 130 methods of rigging in the elections.
Imran Khan said those who could have stopped the foreign conspiracy against his government are also responsible for what is happening in the country nowadays.
After the meeting, a journalist asked Imran Khan in a hotel in Islamabad whether Arif Naqvi is his business partner. On this, Imran Khan said he will not answer this question at all. On this occasion, the security staff of Imran Khan also tried to push journalists.
