An unidentified assailant entered a government school in Hafizabad on Friday and opened fire at a security guard and escaped, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

During the firing indent, all the staff and students including security guards remained safe. The video footage of the firing incident went viral on social media. The firing incident created panic among the teaching staff and students. The parents expressed concerns over the incidents and demanded of authorities to probe the incident and arrest the culprit. The civil society, besides complete investigation of the event, demanded strict action against the attacker so that no such event can take place in future.
