A youth was killed by unknown assailants in Hafizabad district over old enmity on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to rescue officials, unknown armed men opened fire at a youth Awais Butt and killed him on the spot at Kassoki road in Hafizabad and escaped from the scene.

Police said rescue team shifted the dead body to district headquarters hospital in Hafizabad.

According to initial information, murder was the result of old enmity between the two groups. Police said further investigation was under way.
