People sent from Pakistan under a plot to cause ruckus at Madina: Sanaullah

Minister of Interior Rana Sanaullah on Sunday said that through planning, people were sent from Pakistan to Madinah to cause a ruckus by chanting slogans against the delegation inside Masjid-e-Nabvi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, Rana Sanaullah lashed out at PTI and said “Those people had arrested us by making fake cases”, adding that the Shehbaz-led government will not interfere in this matter.

Sanaullah said those who having allegations should come and clear the air on the matter, adding that the government will follow the law and merit over the matter.

The Minister of Interior said that the government does not want to become the plaintiff over the incident that happened at Madinah.

Rana Sanaullah said that if people want to address their reservations legally, then the government should not need to become an obstacle, adding that if people opted for a legal choice to express their sentiments, then the government should not stop them.

Sanaullah said that the people have expressed anger and sadness over the Madinah incident, adding that those people and the party, who are alleged in this incident, have not condemned the desecration of Masjid-e-Nabvi.

Sanaullah said that one of those, who was arrested has confessed to chanting slogans inside Masjid-e-Nabvi. 

Rana Sanaullah said that the sentiments of the masses have been injured because of the matter, adding that they themselves contacted the police and other institutions to launch the lawsuit against the responsible.
