Federal Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Tuesday that the way PTI Chairman Imran Khan was using words like ‘bloody march’ in his speeches, it had now become clear that the purpose of PTI’s long march was not to force the government to hold early elections, but to spread chaos in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

She also made it clear to Imran, also a former prime minister, that the government would never be intimidated by the threats being hurled by him. “Instead, we will send you home before you enter Islamabad,” she claimed.

She also said that the PTI chairman was a ‘certified’ violator of the constitution as declared by the Supreme Court (SC).

Marriyum went on to say that while on one hand there was civility, on the other hand, there was loose talk and frustration.

Calling Imran a ‘foreign-funded Fitna’, she said she wanted to make this clear to him that he could not claim that the entire population of the country supported him when merely 2, 000 people were included in his march.

She was of the view that now there was nothing but humiliation and disgrace for the PTI chairman in future. “It was you Imran, who had offered lifelong extension to Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa just to prolong your stay at the Prime Minister House,” Marriyum said while referring to the statement made by the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) director general (DG) during a press conference a few days ago.

The federal minister alleged that Imran was openly inviting Pakistan Army to support him and thus interfere in the country’s politics.
