Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Saturday said that the Kisan Etihad sit-in protest is unjustified as all their demands have been heard and are being considered, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Rana Sanaullah said that the Kisan Etihad personnel have been informed about the proceedings in today’s meeting.

The Cabinet formed committee is working for the reduction of the agricultural tube wells’ electricity bills, which will sit for a meeting again on Monday and all the demands and suggestions will be discussed. The Government is taking their demands quite seriously.

He further said that the demand for deferring the tube well electricity bills has been accepted and notification has also been issued.

Sanaullah while dissuading Kisan Etihad’s activities said that the protest and the sit-in is very unjustified. Red Zone is the Red Line and Kisan Etihad or no other group is allowed to protest in the Red Zone. He threateningly said that the Law will come into stern action against any group who protests in the Red Zone as very obvious orders by the Supreme Court have been given that no protests will be held in that region.
