Shehbaz greets Erdogan, Oman Sultan and Qatar Amir on Eid

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif extended Eid greetings to Oman Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and and Qatar Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Taking to X, the prime minister tweeted: “Pleased to exchange warm Eid greetings with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman over a telephone call today.

He added: “We prayed for the prosperity of Pakistan and Oman and unity of the Muslim Ummah. Reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to work closely with Oman in all areas of cooperation.

“We expressed our common resolve to deepen and solidify relations between the two brotherly countries.

He also invited the Oman Sultan to visit Pakistan. “Alhamdulillah our bilateral ties have great potential for growth in the coming days, particularly in trade and investment.”

In another post, the premier said on Eid-ul-Fitr he conveyed his sincere wishes and prayers for the prosperity and progress of the people of Türkiye. “We agreed to further enhance our bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest including economy and trade,” he added.

Earlier, the premier tweeted he extended warm Eid greetings to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of Qatar, over telephonic call. "We prayed for the unity of the Muslim Ummah and for the prosperity of Pakistan and Qatar. I conveyed Pakistan’s commitment to work closely with Qatar in all areas of cooperation especially trade. We expressed our resolve to further deepening and solidifying relations between the two Nations."
