Quetta Gladiators seal 64-run win over Rawalpindiz in PSL 11

Quetta Gladiators thrashed Rawalpindiz by 61 runs in the 18th match of the Pakistan Super League Season 11 at the National Stadium in Karachi on Friday.

Chasing a competitive target of 183, Rawalpindiz were bowled out for 121 in the 18th over, failing to build momentum against a disciplined Quetta Gladiators bowling attack.

Saad Masood top-scored with 31, while Daryl Mitchell made 30 and Yasir Khan added 22.

Abdullah Fazal contributed 20, but the rest of the batting line-up faltered.

Notably, Usman Khawaja (7), Mubasir Khan (6), and Sam Billings (1) failed to make significant contributions, while captain Mohammad Rizwan, Asif Afridi, and Mohammad Amir were dismissed without scoring.

Jahandad Khan, Saud Shakeel, and Usman Tariq claimed two wickets each.

Abrar Ahmed and Kashif Bhatti chipped in with one apiece.

Earlier, Quetta posted 182 for six after being asked to bat first. Rilee Rossouw led the charge with 53, while captain Saud Shakeel scored 42 and Hasan Nawaz struck a brisk 39.

In the closing stages, Jahandad Khan provided late fireworks with an unbeaten 21 off just six deliveries, boosting Quetta to a strong finish.

For Rawalpindiz, Ben Sears led the bowling effort with three wickets, while Mohammad Amir claimed two.

Mubasir Khan chipped in with one wicket.
