Atta Tarar accuses PTI of harassing journalists

Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar on Tuesday alleged that the PTI wanted to weaken the Pakistan Army to benefit foreign powers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, he said everybody knew what Operation Goldsmith was.

Tarar accused the PTI of harassing journalists online. “The government will take action against all such individuals involved in the offence,” he vowed. 

He said that the former prime minister and ex-PTI chairman Imran Khan was reaping what he had sowed. “He had politically victimized us when we were in the opposition. And now he is paying the price for that.”

The minister said that there were divisions in the PTI. 

Terming the planned boycott of Pakistani products by the PTI unfortunate, he said the party always boycotted the made in Pakistan products.
