Court extends Imran’s bail in protest against ECP case

A local court in Islamabad has extended the bail of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan till Feb 27 in a case related to his party’s protest against the ECP verdict in Toshakhana reference, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
At the outset of the hearing, Imran’s lawyer filed an application seeking his client’s exemption from court appearance on medical grounds. The court accepted the plea and extended Imran’s bail till Feb 27.
The court also ordered the PTI chairman to submit his written reply.
