Rain, snowfall forecast as temperatures drop across country

The weather in Islamabad, Murree and Abbottabad became further cold after light rain reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Met Office said that Sector G-7, G-8 and H-8 , Barakhu, Bani Gala, Park Road and adjacent areas also received rain and more rain is expected in Kashmir, Murree Galiyat during next one to 3 hours.

Jhelum, Mandi Bahaudin, Mangla, Chakwal and Gujrat will also likely to receive intermittent rain.

Rain with cold breeze was also reported from Murree which forced the people to wear warm cloths. The current temperature of Murree was recorded at seven degree centigrade.

In Karachi, the coolness has increased once again after resumption of sea breezes. The current temperature of Karachi was recorded at 15 degrees centigrade and Karachi achieved 19 position as world’s most polluted city.

The amount of pollution in the air was recorded at 127 particulate meters.

Weather in Lahore is cloudy, cold winds are blowing, weather has become cold. The sun and clouds continue to play tricks in the provincial capital.

The Met Office predicted that there is no chance of rain in the City.

Light rain was also reported in urban areas of district Khyber. The snowfall in Tirah Valley once again turned the weather cold and pleasant. The Met Office predicted more snowfall in the area.

The weather remained cold and dry in most districts of Balochistan. The Meteorological Department further said that northern areas of Balochistan will be in the grip of cold and dry weather.

The minimum temperature of Kalat was recorded at 2 degree centigrade, Ziarat minus 1, Zhob 5, Sibi 12, Turbat 16, Chaman 6, Gwadar 14, Jeewani 16.
