PPP leader and former MNA Haji Nawaz Khokhar passed away in Islamabad late on Saturday night. 

He had been admitted to a private hospital for the last few days. Haji Nawaz Khokhar is the father of PPP Senator and Bilawal Bhutto’s spokesman Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar.

Haji Muhammad Nawaz Khokhar was elected as MNA in 1985–1988, 1990–1993, 1993–1996. He was elected the deputy speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Minister of Science and Technology. He was brother of late Taji Khokhar. Taji Khokhar passed away this week.
