A Jamaat-i-Islami leader narrowly escaped an attempt on his life in District Sadiqabad on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Seven armed men opened fire on JI District leader Abdul Kareem Mazari’s car in the Katcha Arazi area.

The car was heavily damaged but the JI leader escaped any injury.

As Abdul Kareem Mazari still managed to drive his car to his home, the armed men attack his home also, causing damage to it.

The Saun Miana Police Station has registered a case and started the investigation.
