Iran-US agreement could be finalised this week. Arab media reports

A potential agreement between Iran and the United States could be reached later this week, according to reports carried by Arab media outlets on Wednesday.

The television network Al Arabiya reported that Pakistan has been maintaining contact with the relevant parties involved in the negotiations as efforts continue to secure a breakthrough between Tehran and Washington.

According to the report, Pakistan is playing a significant mediating role aimed at reducing tensions and helping to establish a ceasefire. 

The diplomatic initiative is said to be focused on encouraging dialogue and preventing further escalation in the region.

The development comes amid growing speculation that progress has been made in talks between the two sides. 

Efforts to ease tensions have intensified in recent days as regional and international stakeholders seek a diplomatic solution to the ongoing dispute.

Earlier, President Donald Trump expressed optimism about the prospects for an agreement, suggesting that a deal with Iran could be signed within two to three days.

While no official confirmation has yet been issued regarding a final agreement, reports of intensified diplomatic engagement have fuelled expectations that a breakthrough may be imminent.
