Sonakshi Sinha and Parineeti Chopra lash out at Indian media for fake reporting
Popular Bollywood stars Sonakshi Sinha and Parineeti Chopra have criticized their media for their extremely exaggerated and fake reporting regarding the escalating conflict between India and Pakistan.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Sonakshi Sinha wrote: "Our news channels have become a joke. I am fed up with these dramatic visuals, shouting, and baseless news. What are you people doing? Just do your job, report the truth as it is. Don't sensationalize the war, people are already worried, for God's sake, stop spreading fear among the public, people! Find a reliable source and only watch it, stop this garbage that is being shown in the name of news."
Actress Parineeti Chopra also raised objections over the false reports by the media and urged them to act with responsibility by avoiding fake news during the sensitive situation when people are already afraid of war.
Her exact words on Instagram story say: “The worst we can do right now is spread fake news and terrify the people who are watching. Let’s rely on official updates and nothing else. Report with responsibility.”
In case the readers are not aware, Indian media has designed various fake news stories regarding Pakistan and also presented some AI-generated visuals to prove their assertions factual.
