Pakistan closes airspace following Indian missile attacks

In response to the recent missile attacks on Pakistani airbases by India, the Pakistan Airports Authority has announced a temporary closure of national airspace for all types of flights.

According to an official NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) issued in the wee hours of Saturday, Pakistan’s airspace will remain closed from 3:15 AM to 12:00 PM on May 10, 2025.

The move comes as a precautionary security measure amid rising regional tensions following confirmed Indian strikes on Nur Khan and Shorkot airbases earlier this week.

All domestic and international airlines operating in Pakistani airspace have been instructed to adjust flight schedules accordingly, while airport authorities across the country have been put on high alert.
