PM briefs president on Operation Bunyan un Marsoos

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has briefed President Asif Ali Zardari on the Operation Bunyanun Marsoos carried out by Pakistan against India in response to acts of aggression by the latter, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Sources have told the 24News TV channel that Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and the law minister were also present at the meeting that took place at the President’s House. 

President Zardari, they have added, paid rich tributes to the country’s armed forces for showing exemplary gallantry and professionalism.

The president said that Pakistan, being a responsible state, exercised maximum restraint and did not respond to Indian provocations.

Pakistan will defend itself at all costs, sources said while quoting the president.
