In an important address to the nation today in the evening, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will take it into confidence on Pakistan’s response to Indian aggression, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The prime minister will tell the nation the decisions taken by Pakistan and the strategy it has chalked out in the wake of a war with India.

He, in his address, will also expose the ugly face of India to the world in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, which India blamed on Pakistan.

On the other hand, PM Shehbaz has telephoned the leaders of different political parties namely PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, MQM-P Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Jamaat-i-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, Balochistan Awami Party head Khalid Hussain Magsi and PML-Q leader Chaudhry Salik Hussain and informed them of the situation following the operation Bunyanun Marsoos in which several Indian military installations were destroyed.

Sources have told the 24News TV channel that the prime minister has also informed them of the reasons, which led to the operation.

“By the grace of the Almighty Allah, Pakistan has today launched a well-coordinated counterattack against India,” he has said, adding, “India rained drones and missiles on Pakistan. Still, Pakistan exercised restraint.”

Pakistan, he has said, had urged India to carry out an impartial investigation into the Pahalgam terror attack. “But India refused.”

The prime minister has said that today India fired missiles on the Noor Khan Airbase and other installations that resulted in the deaths of unarmed and innocent civilians. “This forced the Pakistan Army to say, ‘enough is enough’, and today the army launched a strong attack against India in which several military installations were destroyed.”

Today, PM Shehbaz has gone on to say, Pakistan has avenged the killings of its innocent civilians. “We are proud of our armed forces,” he has said, adding, “I congratulate all of you and the entire nation on Pakistan’s counterattack.”

They have said that political leaders have praised the Pakistan Army for its retaliation against Indian attacks.
