Rain and thunder bring pleasant weather to Murree, temperatures drop
Light rain and intermittent drizzle have turned the weather pleasant in Murree, with residents and visitors welcoming the cooler conditions as temperatures dropped across the valley, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, rainfall is expected to continue intermittently over the next two days in Murree and the surrounding areas.
The temperature in the hill station has been recorded between a minimum of 17°C and a maximum of 25°C, marking a clear change from the previously warm weather.
Rainfall, accompanied by thunder and dark clouds, has created a fresh and pleasant atmosphere, local reports said.
Authorities said the improved weather is likely to attract more tourists to popular scenic spots in the coming days.
Meteorological forecasts also indicated the possibility of further spells of rain, with cloudy conditions expected to persist, keeping the weather cool and suitable for visitors.
