According to the documents detailing action taken in the wake of the Army Public School, Peshawar massacre reveal that the authorities conducted the trial of the terrorists and culprits involved in the dastardly terror act in the military court.

24NewsHD TV on Wednesday saw the documents which revealed that the military court awarded death sentence to 6 terrorists involved in the incident.

According to the document, the jail authorities carried out the death sentences of terrorists: Hazrat Ali, Abdul Salam, Sabeel and Mujeeb on Dec 2, 2015. 

Another terrorist Rizwan was executed on May 24, 2017. However, militant Ateeq has filed a review appeal against his death sentence in the Supreme Court. 

The documents reveal that the terrorists and culprits of the APS bloodbath have been killed and the APS martyrs and injured were given compensation amounting to Rs1.54 billion. 

The relatives of the APS martyrs were awarded Rs1.20 billion compensation whereas the injured got a compensation of Rs330.73 million.

The federal government gave Rs280.14 million compensation amount; the KP government gave Rs400.98 million; the Punjab government contributed Rs60.16 million; the Pakistan Army gave Rs720.93 million; and the GHQ 11 Corps gave Rs60.23 million compensation amount to the martyrs and injured of the APS carnage.

As per the documents, the relatives of the slain teachers got Rs8.5 million compensation and the kin of slain students were given Rs2 million compensation. 

The principal of the Army Public School was bestowed with awards of Sitara Jurrat and Tamgha Shujaat. 

The APS martyrs were also awarded plots in the DHA. The government also financially assisted the relatives of the martyrs in the performance of Umrah.
