NA Speaker says joint parliament session to be called soon

National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser Wednesday said that the joint session of the parliament would be reconvened soon.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the NA Speaker had tweeted that he had made discussion on the issue of a joint session with Prime Minister Imran Khan in a meeting on Wednesday evening. 

وزیراعظم سے ملاقات میں مشترکہ اجلاس سے متعلق اہم امور پر تفصیلی گفتگو ہوئی۔وزیراعظم کی ہدایت پر انتخابی اصلاحات و اہم بلوں کو مشترکہ اجلاس میں پیش کرنےکے معاملے پر اپوزیشن جماعتوں سےجلد رابطہ کروں گا تاکہ انکےتحفظات کو دور کرکے قومی مفاد کےحامل معاملات پر اتفاق رائےپیدا کیاجائے

He said he would contact the opposition parties on the issue of presenting electoral reforms and other important bills in a joint sitting on the directives of the PM.

The NA Speaker said Imran led government wanted consensus on the issues of national interest by removing the reservations of the opposition.

موجودہ حکومت قانون سازی کے عمل میں تمام جماعتوں کو ساتھ لے کر چلنا چاہتی ہے اور اس ضمن میں ہر ممکن کوشش کی جائے گی۔ امید ہے اپوزیشن جماعتیں ملک کی بہتری کے لیے کی جانے والی اصلاحات میں حکومت کا ساتھ دے گی۔ مشترکہ اجلاس دوبارہ جلد بلایا جائے گا۔

In his Twitter messages, NA Speaker Asad said the government wanted to bring all parties together in the legislative process and every effort would be made in this regard.

Asad Qaiser expressed hope that the opposition parties would support the government in the reforms being carried out for the betterment of the country.
