Four police injured in Kacha dacoits attack

A gang in the Kacha area attacked a police camp and mobile, injuring four cops, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.

Four policemen – Kaleemullah, Saifullah, Daniyal and Shehbaz – sustained injuries in the attack that took place near the Nawazabad area of Punjab’s Rahim Yar Khan district.

The attackers used heavy arms like rocket launchers too. Police retaliated against the attack with full force.

Till the filing of this report, the exchange of fire between the attackers and the police continued.

According to a police spokesperson, robbers from Sindh attacked the police.

DPO Rizwan Umar Gondal reiterated the resolve to purge the criminals from the area to maintain law and order.
