Three terrorists killed in attack on DI Khan Police Training Centre
Heavy gunfire ensued a loud explosion near the Dera Ismail Khan Police Training Centre on Friday night, 24NewsHD TV reported.
The explosion was so loud that it was heard far away and spread panic in the area.
Security forces reached the Dera Ismail Khan Police Training Centre immediately after the gunfire broke out.
As encounter continued between Dera Ismail Khan police and terrorists, a heavy police contingent was called to repel the attack.
Reports suggest that Pakistan Army troops and DI Khan police have also reached the crime scene.
Initial reports suggest that the terrorists entered the police training centre after blowing up the main gate.
DI Khan District Police Officer Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada said that three terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij were killed in this attack.
He said that security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
