Saba Qamar, Bilal Saeed’s arrest warrants cancelled

A court in Lahore on Friday cancelled the arrest warrants issued earlier for actress Saba Qamar and singer Bilal Saeed for recording a dance video in a mosque, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The arrests warrants were cancelled after both the artistes deposited Rs30,000 bail bonds in the court. On the request of the accused’s lawyers, the court issued a written order in this regard.
However, the court ordered the actress-singer duo to appear before it on October 6 in person. Both the accused through their lawyers assured the court to appear on the next date of hearing.

On Wednesday last, a judicial magistrate had issued arrest warrants for top Pakistani actress Saba Qamar and singer Bilal Saeed for not appearing before the court in connection with their dance video which they filmed in Masjid Wazir Khan.
The court had summoned Saba and Bilal as their challan was presented but both of them did not appear. The court now has issued warrants for both of them for October 6.

Akbari Gate police have registered the case of dancing in the mosque and had already presented the challan in the court.
