President Alvi, two governors tender resignations

Soon after the President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif on Monday elected the new Prime Minister, as it was expected, the members of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) continues to tender their resignations.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the latest to resign are President Arif Alvi, KP Governor Shah Farman and Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Earlier, former prime minister Imran Khan and his party members submitted resignations in the National Assembly.

In the resignation, Imran Khan has said that he tenders his resignation as a member of the National Assembly, adding that his resignation should be accepted as an MNA.
