A driver of the van carrying cash belonging to a security company for depositing it in a bank at Karachi’s II Chundrigar Road made away with a sum of Rs200 million along with the van a day before yesterday (Monday, August 9), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Meethadar police registered a case of the heist today (Wednesday, August 11).

Police officials told the media that a security guard was also accompanying the driver at the time. They also took away the weapons.

Police said a search for the suspects was underway.
