Punjab govt to auction all Orange Line Train stations

The Punjab government has decided to outsource all stations of Orange Line Train (OLT) in Lahore in order to generate revenues, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The provincial government has even invited bids from the companies for auctioning the stations.
In this connection, Mass Transit Authority has issued a tender to the companies.
The government plans to build tuck shops as well as install ATM machines at all stations of the orange train.
Apart from that, large garments’ brands will be able to advertise their products at these stations.
It has further emerged that Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has approved outsourcing of train’s stations.
