The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has written a letter to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for investigations into the financial irregularities in the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

“An audit of the tenure of PHF President Brig (r) Khalid Sajjad Khokhar should be carried out,” the text of the letter reads.

“The FIA should look into the alleged irregularities in the PHF,” it adds.

A letter has also been written by the authorities concerned to the PSB to conduct transparent elections of the PHF.

“The PSB should fulfil all legal requirements regarding the inquiry,” the text of the letter reads.

It also directed the PSB to ensure early completion of the inquiry and election.

It is to be noted here that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had allowed an inquiry into the financial irregularities in the PHF.
