New seniority list of Lahore High Court judges issued
Following the appointment of 10 additional judges in the Lahore High Court (LHC), a new seniority list has been prepared, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The number of judges in the high court has now risen to 50 and only 10 seats are vacant now.
LHC Chief Justice (CJ) Justice Aalia Neelum is at the top of the list.
She is followed by Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh (2), Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan (3), Justice Shehbaz Ali Rizvi (4), Justice Faisal Zaman Khan (5), Justice Shahid Kareem (6), Justice Mirza Waqas Rauf Mirza (7), Justice Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal (8), Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry (9), Justice Muhammad Sajid Mehmood Sethi (10), Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani (11), Justice Tariq Salim Sheikh (12), Justice Jawad Hassan (13), Justice Muzammil Akhtar Shabbir (14), Justice Farooq Haider (15), Justice Muhammad Waheed Khan (16), Justice Risal Hassan Syed (17), Justice Asim Hafeez (18), Justice Sadiq Mehmood Khurram (19), Justice Ahmad Nadeem Arshad (20), Justice Muhammad Nadeem Tariq (21).
