Two trains derail in Jia Bagga and Mirpur Mathelo

Railway traffic was disrupted as two trains derailed at different stations in Punjab and Sindh on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to details, Awam Express was derailed near Jia Bagga Railway Station. The train was coming from Karachi to Lahore.

Soon after receiving the report, railway rescue teams rushed to the spot and put the train back on the railway track. Now the train is ready for its destination, Lahore.

The second incident took place at Mirpur Mathelo Railway Station, in which a DMVD train was derailed. The DVM train was returning with useless bogies.

After the derailment, traffic was suspended on the up track. A train from Rohri will reach the site. Railway officials said that the track will be restored soon.

The train was going to Lahore for the repair of bogies.
