Another prisoner died in Lahore’s Camp Jail. He is the 12th prisoner in 12 days who has passed away in the jail, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Reportedly, the health condition of 53-year-old prisoner Akbar got worsened in the jail. The authorities shifted him to a hospital where he breathed his last. 

The jail authorities said that Akbar was suffering from cancer.

It’s very strange that Akbar was the 12th prisoner who died in the Camp Jail in 12 days. Whether it is a coincidence or there is something wrong with the jail administration or jail environment, the high-ups must look into it.
