Burglars loot cash, gold worth Rs20m from house in Pindi

The armed robbers looted local and foreign currency, gold ornaments, and other things worth Rs20 million at gunpoint from a house in Morgah area of Rawalpindi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Police sources quoted that five armed robbers broke into Akbar House, held the family hostage and locked all the members of the house in one room.
The burglars took away cash worth Rs7.5 million including 9,000 Euros, $500, 80 tola gold, passports, documents and a pistols.
The Morgah police reached the spot and collected the evidence from the crime scene.
The incident is being investigated, said police sources.
