England pose 355-run target to Pakistan in Multan Test
England were dismissed for 275 Sunday in their second innings of the second Test against Pakistan in Multan, setting the home team a target of 355 for victory.
Spinner Abrar Ahmed took 11 wickets for 234 across the two innings -- the second best by a bowler on debut for Pakistan, behind Mohammad Zahid's 11-130 against New Zealand in Rawalpindi 26 years ago.
For England, who resumed at 202-5, Harry Brook scored 108 for his second century of the series after his 153 in the first Test, also in Rawalpindi.
England, on their first Test tour of Pakistan since 2005, lead the three-match series 1-0.
Pakistan need 355 runs in the fourth innings to beat England and will get their innings underway in 10 minutes or so. They have had a pretty good half-hour, taking the final 5 wickets for 19 runs, but the sense is that damage might already have been done. Pakistan's spinners shared 18 wickets between them across both innings with the other two dismissals both run-outs. England's run rate of 4.77 in this match is the highest for any team to be bowled out twice in a Test match.

England's Brook century
Fast-rising England batter Harry Brook completed his second century of the series against Pakistan Sunday on the third day of the Multan Test.
The 23-year-old drove spinner Mohammad Nawaz for a 14th boundary to get to three figures, following his 153 in the first Test in Rawalpindi.
His hundred, in only his third Test, came off 137 deliveries.
England were on 245-5 when Brooks got his ton, having added 43 runs and extending their lead to 324.
England, on their first Test tour of Pakistan for 17 years, lead the three-match series 1-0 after winning the first match by 74 runs.
